Katelin Akens

On December 1, 2015, Katelin Michelle Akens flew across the country from her home in Arizona to visit her family in Virginia. She had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of her nephew, and wanted to see him as soon as he was born. Four days later, on December 5, 2015, 19-year-old Katelin was supposed to fly back home to Arizona, but she never boarded her flight. A few days after she disappeared, her luggage was found on the side of a Virginia road with her wallet, identification, cash, and plane ticket, but there was no sign of Katelin. On the afternoon of her disappearance, Katelin texted a couple people but they found the texts to be strange and didn't believe the messages came from Katelin. The last person to see Katelin was her former stepfather, James Branton. He says he last saw Katelin when he dropped her off at a mall several hours before her flight, but has refused to take a polygraph and law enforcement has struggled to break the encryption on his phone. Nearly three years have passed since Katelin’s disappearance, and her family is still searching for answers. If you have any information about Katelin Akens, please call the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office at 540-507-7102 or the FBI’s ViCAP division at 1-800-634-4097. Jerry and Susan McFalls

Jerry and Susan McFalls split their time between two homes that they owned. One was in Littlefield, Arizona and the other was in West Jordan, Utah. Since they were retired, they spent most of the winter months at the Arizona property. On January 11, 2018, Susan texted her daughter-in-law, Meridee, letting her know they were going to be making the trip back to Utah that weekend. Jerry and Susan never made it back and were never seen again. When no one heard from them for several days, they began trying to track them down. They realized that no one had seen them during the time they planned to be in Utah. Meridee contacted law enforcement in Arizona to go check on them. A deputy went out to their home and all of their belongings, including vehicles, were there. Music was playing outside, the television was on, it appeared as though Susan was in the middle of cooking dinner. Despite many searches, no trace of Jerry and Susan has been found. UPDATE: On October 18, 2018, two sets of remains were located near the Virgin River Gorge. On November 1, 2018, they were able to identify one of the sets of remains as belonging to Susan McFalls. The other set of remains is still pending identification. There is currently a reward of $10,000 for information regarding the whereabouts of Jerry and Susan McFalls. If you have any information, please call the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department at 928-753-0753. When her children returned home that day, Angela wasn’t home and they were told by their stepfather that she had said she had to go “do something” and just walked off. Amanda Kay Jones

In August of 2005, 26-year-old Amanda Jones was pregnant with her second child, a boy that she planned to name Hayden. Amanda was a single mom who was extremely close with her 4-year-old daughter. On August 14, 2005, she had plans to meet the alleged father of baby Hayden, Bryan Westfall, to discuss his role in the baby's life. She dropped her daughter off and left to meet him at the Hillsboro Civic Center in Hillsboro, Missouri. Amanda promised to be back in a couple hours. When she didn't return, her family grew concerned because she was so close to her due date. They were worried that she may be experiencing a medical emergency. They began frantically searching for her and found her car parked at the Civic Center. Amanda's mom, Bertha, contacted Westfall who told her several conflicting stories about what transpired that day. Amanda and baby Hayden remain missing and Bryan has refused to speak about Amanda's disappearance for almost 13 years. If you have any information about the disappearance of Amanda Jones, the FBI is currently offering a $20,000 reward. You can submit a tip anonymously online at tips.fbi.gov or by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI. You can also contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department at 636-797-5562. Michael Dillard

On the evening of January 12, 2018, 15-year-old Michael Dillard disappeared from his home in Calvin, West Virginia. He was helping his mom carry in bags of wood pellets from the car when he ran behind the house. His mom didn’t think much of it at first but when she finished carrying the rest of the bags in and couldn’t find Michael, she became concerned. She called family for help and then alerted the authorities. The weather quickly turned that evening as a storm rolled into the area, first bringing rain and then snow. That storm made searching for Michael very difficult that night. Many searches were conducted in the weeks and months that followed Michael’s disappearance but the only item that was ever found was a jacket. Since Michael went missing during the harsh winter months, they were hopeful that the spring thaw would yield some clues but Michael’s disappearance is still just as a much of a mystery as it was that stormy January night. If you have any information about the disappearance of Michael Dillard, you can call 1-800-THE-LOST. You can also contact the West Virginia State Police at 304-872-0800. To contact the private investigator, John Bonazzo, please 304-415-8920. He is offering a $3,000 dollar reward. While they were hanging out, Keith mentioned that he was meeting someone at 12:15am. His friends said they dropped him off at his apartment around 11:45 PM. They told his family that they watched him walk up the stairs toward his apartment. That is the last time anyone claims to have seen Keith. The following day, the car that Keith was driving was spotted in a church parking lot just a few miles away.
