Later Dan talks about the Caps blue line and how they will have to step-up in John Carlson's absence. John took a puck to the face against Winnipeg and is out indefinitely. Dimitry will get the lions share of Carlson's time Dmitry Orlov take on more ice time and lead the team with 23:27 Trevor van Riemsdyk He finished with 21:27 minutes
In the last segment Dan talks about the stellar play of Darcy Kuemper as he got the shutout win Tuesday night against the Rangers.
Kuemper has posted a record of 5-0-1 with a 1.50 goals-against average, a .949 save percentage and two shutouts in his last seven starts, dating back to Nov. 23.
Goaltender Darcy Kuemper stopped all 32 shots faced tonight against the Rangers, earning his 3rd shutout and 10th win of the season. The Capitals are the only team in the NHL to have two goaltenders with 10 wins (Charlie Lindgren: 10 wins).
