Catherine and Kim discuss how their anxieties and worries have changed since getting sober. Both the ladies have dealt with social anxiety over the years, but they talk about some of their more tangible fears that have changed since they have begun to confront their feelings more in sobriety. They discuss the ways they manage their anxiety and the things they do to stay mindful and present.
Catherine is on her own this week and reflects on how things have been going for her these days. Things aren't always perfect and easy when you are sober, and she discusses the bad days and how she manages them without alcohol.
Kim has an impromptu, unscripted chat with her three children about what they know about alcohol. It is never too early to begin the discussion. Hear what Kim's kids: Brayden (11), Chase, (9) and Parker (7) each had to say about the topic. Having an honest and open dialogue with your kids is a healthy habit to create early on in their lives.
