Former President Jacob Zuma walked out of the commission of Inquiry into State Capture. This is after Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo refused to recuse himself from hearing Zuma's testimony. At least 100 people, who invested thousands of their hard earned money into a get rich quick scheme, have been left high and dry and with feelings of shame and regret. This after they found the office doors of Fin Quest Holdings in Soweto closed and the owners of the scheme had disappeared with their monies. The investors include the elderly whose chronic illnesses have worsened since learning of how they've been scammed. One person has even had a stroke after discovering that they'll not be getting any returns on their investments. Tshepo Phagane has more....

SABC Group CEO Madoda Mxakwe says management will respond to workers' demands next week. Mxakwe accepted a memorandum of demands from the Communication Workers Union at the public broadcaster's headquarters in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. The CWU led scores of employees, joined by different political parties and unions in a nationwide protest against management's plans to retrench 400 staff. The union has demanded an immediate end to the retrenchment process, as well as the withdrawal of letters of redundancy that have already been issued to some workers. They also want the board to be dissolved and for the SABC to be placed under administration. Wisani Makhubele has the details ....

A heated exchange between former President Jacob Zuma's lawyers and the State Capture Commission 'secretary Itumeleng Mosala has ensued days before Zuma's expected return to the inquiry. Zuma was subpoenaed to appear before the commission from 16th to 20th November after he failed to appear on several occasions. On Thursday Zuma filed an application for Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo to recuse himself as the commission chair due to their personal relations among other reasons. This was after Mosala warned Zuma's attorney, Eric Mabuza, on Wednesday that even if the application were filed, Zuma was still expected to appear come Monday. Self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri says he doesn't feel safe in South Africa, because in February this year, he almost got shot in Sandton and authorities did nothing about it. He was speaking during a virtual briefing after he and his wife defied their bail conditions and fled to Malawi. The Bushiri's were granted bail of 200 thousand rand in the Pretoria magistrate's court earlier this month on charges of theft, money laundering and fraud in connection with an alleged 102 million rand investment scheme.
