A recent study conducted by The Thompson Reuters Foundation has found that South Africa comes third in Africa after Egypt and Nigeria as the best place to be a social entrepreneur. As we celebrate Youth Month, today we put the spotlight on youth unemployment in South Africa and the possible solutions. According to Stats SA, four out of 10 young people do not have a job. President Cyril Ramaphosa has called the high unemployment rate among the youth, a national crisis. Could social entrepreneurship offer a solution?
