A prominent IFP leader from Zululand has been gunned down at Ulundi in northern KwaZulu-Natal. Samkelo Dlamini an IFP chairperson from Zululand District was ambushed by unknown gunmen while driving on the main road in Ulundi. The gunmen allegedly opened fire on his car and Dlamini sustained multiple wounds and died on scene. Dlamini was also the party's councillor at Zululand District Municipality.
