Parliament's Constitutional Review Committee has resolved to amend the Constitution to provide for the expropriation of land without compensation. The decision, by majority vote, follows months of public hearings and written submissions. The ANC, EFF, and NFP all supported the proposal while the DA, Cope, the Freedom Front Plus, and IFP opposed it.
