Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown says she is satisfied with the Eskom's board re-evaluation process for the return of CEO Brian Molefe to the power utility. When Molefe stepped down from Eskom after the release of the Public Protector's "State of Capture' report, he said that quitting was not an admission of wrongdoing but was in the best interests of Eskom and good corporate governance. Brown says she was informed by the board of this decision after she rejected a pension pay-out of 30 million rand for him after his removal. Social media was abuzz this week following a TV interview by Finance minister, Malusi Gigaba's wife Norma.
