Former President and MK Party leader, Jacob Zuma's recent visit to India has sparked controversy after local media reported that he was seen alongside Ajay Gupta and South Africa's High Commissioner to India. The Guptas have been at the centre of a state capture inquiry in South Africa and are wanted by authorities. They have denied the allegations. South Africa's clinical study, BEAT Tuberculosis,  that began in a research unit in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, has transformed global treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis. The primary aim of BEAT Tuberculosis was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a novel, shortened treatment regimen for DR-TB compared with the established standard of care. Last week, the study's findings were in the New England Journal of Medicine the highest-ranked medical journal in the world. The publication recognises that this research study has set the global standard for TB care. INTRO: South Africa's rugby captain captain, Siya Kolisi, says his side will face an England team with in-form players when the two sides kick-off their Nations Championship challenge at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on later this evening. Prices ranged between 950 and three thousand rand for standard seating as around 30-thousand tickets were still available. However, a large number of tickets are now available at 650 rand, while even prime seating has been reduced to 950 rand. The Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on Migration has instructed citizens to treat the 30th of June as a normal day for the country. The IMC, which includes the Ministries of Home Affairs, International Relations, Justice and Constitutional Development, Police and Labour and employment, said this while briefing the media on the outcome of its weekly meeting on Friday in Pretoria.  Briefing the media, Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi emphasized that members of the public are not permitted to demand documents or check the immigration status of foreign nationals. The African Women Chartered Accountants is warning that South Africa could face a future shortage of ethical financial leaders as mounting financial barriers continue to exclude talented young Black women from pursuing careers as Chartered Accountants.
