In this week’s episode, Austin shares a valuable less than that he’s learned over the years – to adopt and abundance versus scarcity mindset.
When you’re starting a new business for the first time, it can be difficult to have an abundance mindset because you make constantly feel like you are looking down the barrel of a gun with all the pressure surrounding you.
If you are trying to onboard someone as a client and they are presenting you with objections and in that moment, you have a feeling of “I have to win this” or “wow this person keeping throwing a lot at me”, it is important to remember this is just a part of that person’s process. For that person to decide on your business, they’re putting you through their process and that’s okay. They’re taking the steps they need to, in order to sign on with you.
As soon as you believe that you literally shift from a scarcity mindset to abundance mindset!
On the other hand, Amer realizes that he wanted quick success when he started his business.
When you’re trying to run your own business and especially conduct a sale, nothing replaces being an expert, being a figure of authority, and earning the trust of people. Just finding a goldmine for advertising simple doesn’t do that – like running Facebook ads. You got to actually do the hard work.
After Amer picked up the gray work of running his business (since landing in Texas till release of Episode 135), it’s shown amazing results!
