Hey, all! It’s Halloween time! I know that by the very nature of the show, we often cover some spooky shit. This week, we will be covering some spooky shit, BUT it’s some spooky shit that inspired a horror movie!



On this episode we discuss the mass possession that took hold of the Wu family. Each member of the family claimed to be possessed by a different spirit or deity. Eventually the events lead to the death of one of the family members. These events inspired a Taiwanese horror film called The Incantation. We cover both the movie and the events, and discuss where the inspiration was drawn from, and just how much of the film was actually based on the true events.
