Have an amazing Christmas everyone, if you celebrate, and thank you so much for all of your support!!

In the winter of 1596, famine and desperation turn London’s Newgate Prison into a place of cannibalism and despair. What follows is a chilling legend of a spectral black dog that stalks the guilty through cells, streets, and snow-covered alleys, raising the question of whether the monster was supernatural, or born from human cruelty itself.

As winter closes in, the landscape changes. Roads disappear, sound is swallowed, and distance becomes impossible to judge. Snow does not just cover the world. It erases it.

In this episode, we share three unsettling accounts set against whiteout conditions and prolonged snowfall.

On frozen backroads from Ohio to Michigan and Connecticut, stories persist of small, feral figures with grotesquely swollen heads stalking the tree line. From Dr. Crow’s abused “patients” on Wisner Road to asylum escapees along Connecticut’s infamous “Dracula Drive,” the Melon Heads legend blends real medical conditions, social cruelty, and spooky eyewitness accounts into one of America’s most unsettling modern monster tales.

On a stormy night, a girl reaches down for the comforting lick of her dog under the bed—only to discover at dawn that her pet is dead in the bathroom and the words “HUMANS CAN LICK, TOO” are written in blood. In this episode, we unravel the infamous “Licked Hand” urban legend, its variations and origins, and the real-world intruder cases that make the story feel disturbingly possible.

A baby’s cry in the dead of night can stir the soul, or freeze the blood. These spooky accounts reveal how a sound meant to summon comfort becomes the call of something far darker.

In the dark forests and lonely farms of Scandinavia, the wailing of a child means something far worse than sorrow. It’s the cry of a myling, the restless ghost of an abandoned soul. Born from tragedy and buried in shame, these vengeful spirits haunt the living until they’re named, baptized… or avenged.
