In today's episode, Alex Comstock and Jeremy Lopez are joined by Beau Martonik of East Meets West. Beau started East Meets West over 8 years ago and has since quit his 9-5 job to go full-time with creating content in the hunting industry. Beau resides in the mountains of Pennsylvania and ventures out West every year to chase deer, elk, caribou, and moose. He devotes all his free time to scouting and hunting whitetails in the big woods of Pennsylvania. Beau is an all-around great dude and has become very successful in his craft. The guys dive into how East Meets West came to life and the direction it’s headed, how Beau was able to quit his full-time job to go all in on his brand, financial strategies to become self-employed, the realities of being in the hunting industry, deer camp traditions, logistics for out of state hunts, tips for getting a skull and meat back home from an out of state hunt, practical camping options for cold weather hunts, realities of altitude sickness, key items to hone in on when scouting the big woods for whitetails, preset stands vs mobile hunting, working in a bow shop, arrow and broadhead selection, and Beau’s plans for 2024. This is an all-around great conversation for the avid outdoorsman!
