Grab a glass of lemon water and listen in for today’s episode with my friend Kylie Larson. You’re not going to want to miss this one!
Kylie is the founder of Lift to Get Lean, and her passion lies in changing lives and helping clients reach their full potential in all areas of life. While pursuing her own goals, she learned that nutrition is the single most important thing when it comes to reaching your goals and, the more she learned about nutrition, the more she realized that what we eat is rarely about the food. Kylie often asks you to go deeper and examine your thoughts around yourself, food, exercise, and diet.
In today’s episode we talk about our powerful mindset around food and fitness, how to calculate your maintenance calories, how to lose fat respectfully, the non-curse of perimenopause, reverse dieting, and of course my favorite for women, WEIGHT LIFTING!
Today’s episode is a wonderful resource and one you’re going to want to share with a friend! Let me know what one thing you’re going to implement from the episode—mine is eating my carbs more in the middle of the day, around my workouts!
Thanks for being in my corner, as always!
xo, Kels

Today’s episode is a really fun solo episode with yours truly: me! 😉 I’ll be back with a guest next time, but you’ll notice me drop in with some short and practical encouragement from time to time!
As a holistic practitioner I see SOOO many people getting so very intricate with detoxing, habits, and protocols while still having basic things that are going un-addressed. I am seeing the dangers of this working AGAINST health & healing.
On today’s episode, we are talking about the basics of achieving whole health. If you’re stressing about 254,000 things you “should” be doing, you’re probably un-doing the good work you ARE doing. I’m taking the stress off of taking all the supplements, the pressure to detox, and more. I’m also encouraging you in consistency and how our all-or-nothing mindset needs to be traded in for habits that last the long haul.
Grab your headphones and listen in for today’s quicker episode, and learn some things that can really move the needle in health. My hope is that you’ll walk away feeling encouraged to implement some practical rhythms and leave the overwhelm behind. Practical roadmap, here we come!

Part 2 is coming in hot, but before we get there…did you listen to part one?! If not, go back and listen to Part 1 of this episode, where we talk all about mold misnomers, indoor air quality, mildew, mold myths, and childhood illness. You will not regret it.
Now for today’s episode we get even MORE practical, and I love it! Take a deep dive with us into mold remediation, practical steps on how to keep the mold at bay in your home, and more on indoor air quality. Jason shares some practical steps we ALL can take to make our homes safer.
Remediation can seem like such a beast (and it can be!!) but catching it early along with knowing what you’re looking for is SO important. You’ll find Jason explains that so well here. Listen in for some great remediation tips, what you should be looking for in your home, and when you need to start. I can’t wait to hear what you learn from it.

You are going to LOVE today’s episode with my new friend, Jake. He has an amazing story of helping heal his body from severe Psoriasis, and now helps others heal through his program. While he doesn’t guarantee healing, he believes consistency & faithfulness can reap rewards for sure.
Jake Marotta is the creator of Natural Psoriasis Healing. After years of battling with moderate to severe psoriasis, Jake made the amazing discovery that if he wanted to overcome his skin condition and take back control of his life, he needed to adopt a holistic approach and address symptoms from the inside out. This discovery is what eventually led him to develop the 3 pillar skin health reversal system that has allowed him to maintain great skin health long-term and help many others do the same in the process.
In this episode, we’re talking about:
I can’t wait for you to hear this fun conversation with Jake. Let me know what you learned!

Friends, today’s episode is chock-full of goodness! I’m excited to dive back into practical health chats with my friend Anne Honeman. She’s got quite the childhood story that I can’t wait for you to hear. Anne is passionate about children’s nutrition and helping parents nourish their families, and I know you’re going to leave with some ideas you can implement right away!
Anne is wife to a farmer, a beginner homesteader and mama to 3 kids ages 6, 3, and 7 months. After fighting a severe allergy for years and traditional medicine taking its toll on her, she eventually came upon her first holistic doctor. This doctor gave her a second lease on life at 20 years old, helping her to rebalance and heal her body. This journey sparked a fire in her for everything crunchy and holistic. Anne went on to become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner to pursue her interest in nutrition and holistic healing. Anne is also the owner and founder of Plain to Peak Wellness: “keeping souls well from the plains to the peaks.”
Today Anne & I are talking all things nutrition surrounding pregnancy, mom-life, and kids. Be sure to listen to the end for lots of nutrient-dense kid snack ideas and picky eater tips! I can’t wait to hear your takeaways.

Four years ago, Kelsey and Josh Jack came to a conviction that sounded early at the time: construction and wellness were converging, and the next wave in health would not come from a supplement, a…
The Wholly Well Podcast is where that conviction lives. Hosted by Kelsey Jack, FNTP, founder and CEO of Wholly Well Built, the show brings together the two worlds she and Josh Jack have spent their careers in. Kelsey spent a decade as a functional nutritional therapy practitioner working the questions that don't resolve on a lab panel: why the fatigue doesn't lift, why hormones stay stubborn, why sleep breaks, why someone can fix their food, their supplements, and their stress and still wake up feeling wrong. Somewhere in those years she ran into a variable her field wasn't accounting for. The water clients bathed in. The air in the bedroom where they spent a third of their lives. The lighting that kept their bodies convinced it was noon at nine at night. The wiring behind the headboard. The mold behind the drywall no test was going to find. Josh, meanwhile, had spent twenty years in commercial construction, starting in the field at fifteen, and continuing to build. Wholly Well Built exists because they stopped treating the body and the building as separate disciplines, and this podcast is the ongoing conversation about what happens when you solve them together.
With The Built Environment Series, the show expands to include the people deciding what gets built and how: architects, engineers, developers, physicians, designers, and mold and indoor air experts, alongside the functional health practitioners who have been part of this show since the beginning. Every conversation comes back to the six things a building gets right or wrong, and that almost no one is talking about: air, water, light, materials, electrical, and spatial flow.
These are conversations shaping the future of construction, wellness, and real estate, from two people who saw it coming and are building it now.
Fifty episodes of functional health remain in the catalog. The next chapter starts here.
The next frontier of health is the room you are standing in.
