I think there are positives and negatives to drug use. I like drugs but I rarely use them and I can very clearly see the negative side effects that they tend to produce. Today I'll talk about my experiences and what I think about the role they play in life. 

Just a side note, I am more sober today than I've been in a long time and I also feel better than I've ever felt so keep that in mind when listening.

I also don't bring up injectable drugs because I don't know anything about them as I've never tried them because I can see where they end and I don't ever want to take a chance on that. 

A lot of us have heard of the concept of becoming like the five people we spend most of our time with and even though I didn't think much of it at first I have started to see the impact of it in the past few years. I like to reframe it though as "sphere of influence" which expands the idea to things we consume digitally in our everyday lives that I go over in this episode today.

The holiday weekend is just about over and regardless of how our decisions when it comes to consumption or activity level effects our short term we can set ourselves up for the week towards success in our long term progress. Today I'm going over a meal-prep recipe I came up with called Eggplant Mozz and other things to keep in mind when it comes to planning our week for success.

Sometimes I know I just want to smash a whole pint of ice cream. But since I am sensitive to dairy I tend to stay away but that doesn't mean I dislike it. I found a good alternative in the form of Halo Top. There are good things about it and things left to be desired but there is always a cost/benefit to anything so I'll go over those in this short Saturday episode to help you mitigate the cost of those cheat days.

I hope everyone had a great Independence Day and whether some of us are going back to work today or trying to keep the festivities going we want to make sure we are prepping ourselves so that we don't lose any progress we've made so far. Today I'm talking about creating a great summer dish and how to make it in a way that it isn't a chore to eat but might even be good enough to substitute for any less than healthy options you were going to have for the holiday weekend.

Yoga is getting kind of a bad name partly because of the booty pants industry disguised as yoga. But there are quite a few really good things for overall athletic performance and range of motion in the yoga practice. Today I'll go over five stretches that come from yoga that I am doing at night that are helping my range of motion so that I have a better ability to focus my energy.

This is something that I grew up with by default but have been taking a closer look at it. I have had really good results by focusing my diet this way but I do have Mediterranean ancestry so it might work differently for me than for you, but today I'll go in to some of the parts of it and why they work.

The internet is a fantastic thing but it can be used in a destructive way that hinders our ability to create the person or life we want. So I talk about some of my struggles with internet over usage in hopes you can learn something from my gradual ability to conquer it.

I made some pretty killer pineapple bbq sauce for some chicken thighs which I go over. Also I'm working on getting better at not only planning my meals but also my physical activity which I go over as well. Have a good week folks!

In the interest in mitigating the cost of the fun we have when we go out on the weekend I talk about setting up those "indulgence" meals at home so you don't overindulge in high fat fast food and to save you money so you don't look back on your nights out with regret for spending too much.
