Get excited ladies and gents, it's another Teagan takeover this week! In our penultimate episode for 2024, we're going deeper than the Mariana Trench as Teagan takes us through things her therapist said to her that made her go fuck. When I tell you we spent a lot of this episode with open-mouthed stares at each other thinking holy heck that was intense point, I'm not even lying to you.

You may come out of this episode a little bruised, a little sore and a little emotional, but I promise you, it's worth every minute. There is a lot to be said about the self-worth piece, and I have a feeling we could talk about it for hours. Alas, we actually managed to keep this pod to a reasonable time frame 😂

*CRACK* There it is again! Another circuit breaker to break up the heaviness of some of the topics we've been covering. *CRACK* Did you hear that? That was the sound of us breaking the circuit. We've gone for a lighter ep this week to break up some heavy topics. Lighter? Absolutely? Chaotic as ever? You betcha!

I challenge you to find a human being who hasn't watched someone's social media, or read about someone in a magazine, or watched someone on tv and wished that their life looked a bit like that person they were watching. I don't think there's a person alive who hasn't compared themselves to other people especially with the rise of social media in the past decade or so.

In today's episode we discuss comparisonitis and why we really shouldn't be comparing ourselves to someone else's highlight reel. Plus Teagan brings us the 'Let Them' theory a brilliant mindset when you're a bit of a worrier when it comes to what other people think of you (AKA Steph).

Have a little walk down memory lane and remember what you were like 16. I'm guessing, if you're like majority of the population, you likely felt awkward, angsty and not entirely sure where you fit in. 16 is a minefield of hormones and second-guessing yourself and its where a lot of our original thoughts about ourselves came from.

Given that so many of us struggle with self-worth, self-doubt, low self-esteem etc, we thought we'd show you one of the ways you can begin to work on all of these things - by healing your 16 year old self.

How in the name of Vegetarian Mary do you do that? Well you write little you a letter of course! Tell yourself all the things you desperately needed to hear as you battled pimples, puberty and putting the you know what in the you know where! In this episode we share the letters we've written to our teenage selves, and some of the advice we wish we'd had back then too.

Oh Woo Crew, how grateful we are that you stick around despite our chaotic ways. Our beautiful Woo Crew, your fave podcasts hosts have become one with the kids. We have learnt at least in part some of the language of the youths and this week we are Skibidi Rizzing our Icks. Translation: We are talking about minor annoyances that make us irrationally angry.

We are letting the f bombs fly and our anger levels rise to 1000 as we discuss those minor nuisances that make us irrationally angry. It's a deviation from our usual positivity but we promise you plenty of LOL's (oooh another youth speak, we are nailing this today!) as you listen to how irate we get over nose whistling, people not using their blinkers and plenty more. Human Design is creating a bit of a buzz at the moment, giving us yet another tool to really understand ourselves at a core level. Steph has been fascinated by Human Design for the last few years and whilst not an expert, she's picked up a few things along the way that may help you understand it a bit more. We have no idea how many parts there will be to the Human Design chat, but this is part 1.

We take you through the 5 types (Generator, Manifesting-Generator, Manifestor, Projector and Reflector); and give you general tips on how you can live in alignment with your Human Design type.
