The Worst There Was: The Bottom of the Wrestling Barrel

Full disclaimer: Alan and Ronan are very hungover for this one. Is ECW on Sci-Fi the ultimate hangover cure? Of course not! An added layer of torture has been added, as this episode starts with a review of DX against Big Show and the McMahons inside *adopts Vince McMahon/gruff hangover voice* HELL IN A CELL!

Enjoy a little sneak peek of just some of the great content available on our Patreon *(http://patreon.com/twtwpod), with this, the first edition of Straight to DDT, where we cover wrestlers in bad films!

A whole host of content is available on the Patreon for just $5 a month, including even more late-stage WCW, ill-fated ECW revivals, Heroes of Wrestling, and much much more!

Hey look, ECW on Sci-Fi hasn't been great so far, but apparently they're trying new things here, so maybe...*checks notes*, oh God.

As a (somewhat belated) second birthday present to ourselves, we're starting a new bonus series called The Best There Was, where we finally review some good things. We start with arguably the greatest wrestling documentary of all time, as TWTW delves into Beyond the Mat!

Summerslam is over, but it's still Groundhog Day in ECW, as we watch a lot of rematches again. Still, is it possible that these may actually be a couple of decent episodes of TV? I mean, not really, but any port in a storm!

Season 2 takes a quick detour into WWE proper, and it's a decision that we now greatly regret. Who's ready for the biggest funeral of the summer?

This is a very silly episode. Frankly, finding anything funny in this continuous dross is great luck in itself. You won't believe this, but we get some bad squash matches, low-quality vignettes and bad Tommy Dreamer segments!

Hello!

Our very first video episode, which is the first part of Hunk Hunt with Heather, is available now on YouTube. You can get it here:

As it's the first, we would greatly appreciate any likes, comments etc., which will help the old algorithm stuff. Enjoy!

P.S. The bed music of this plug is Rick Rude's WCW theme "Simply Ravishing". Check it out if you want to hear the greatest wrestling song ever.

It's Groundhog Day all over again, as Kelly strips, Kevin Thorn gurns, and The Big Show defends his title against some very un-ECW challengers. It's all happening!

The Big Show Era of WWECW begins, and WWE has picked the perfect first challengers for his title. I mean, when you think ECW, you think Ric Flair and The Undertaker, don't you?
