In this replay, we chat about simplicity, keep it simple. We're all paralyzed by overthinking and overcomplication. We all have these big goals, myself included, and I struggle to know where to begin. I overcomplicated making a podcast for a whole year! So with that, I ask, how can we keep things simple? Think of a goal that you keep putting off, or telling yourself you're not ready for, are you making it harder than it needs to be? 

This is such a FIRE message!! Listen up. I am not the girl I was, I am the woman I am. Run with it! We cannot repeat patterns in our life, and sometimes we are so afraid of repeating the patterns that we run with the story in our mind. That story is based on a past version of yourself, and this is normal. You are not wrong. 

However, that story no longer works for you. I'm going to show you in this episode how to change it. 

Happy Thanksgiving Worthiness Warriors! This replay is so ideal for this time of year and the holidays. What is the difference between boundaries and expectations? Typically, expectations aren't communicated however, a boundary is the opposite. 

Expectations are a form of conditional love... if you show up this way I will give you love, but if you don't I will pull away. Too often we use expectations to form and decide our relationships. On the other hand, boundaries are a way of saying how important a relationship is. 

This replay is pure gold. It's one of my absolute favorites. I woke up with a thought last night that I MUST share. The people who use empath as an identifier are often lacking boundaries. Say that again for the people in the back!! Do you relate? 

Remember that with boundaries feeling, and feeling deeply is a superpower.

I'm so happy to spend my Thursdays with you, and today is no exception. Today I felt the need to stop what I was doing and record this for you! Thank you to my friend and colleague Rose, for inspiring me. 

I'm learning more and more about what I have time for. There isn't time! I've had a lot of hard conversations recently, and I've learned to trust myself and I've learned who's opinions to care about! Now, that doesn't mean the other things don't sting. 

This week we go a little deeper and get a little closer. This past week I lost my aunt, someone who is really important to me. This year has held a lot of grief for us, and I thought it would be a good time to talk about how to navigate it. As much as it sucks, it is a part of life it is the only known. For a lot of us, the last couple of years have really brought up how we were taught to work through these negative feelings. Learning to feel, both good and bad, helps you to feel something you've never felt before. There is nothing wrong with sitting in your pain. 

Happy Thursday!! Hello from Maryland. Last week we spent some time in New York, and I want to tell you a bit about our trip. After a night with Sofar Sounds the third act couldn't make it, and they filled the spot with a sound engineer. This man was not prepared, and he was outstanding, to say the least. This person was also self-deprecating and didn't go out of his way to share himself and where to find his work. He was just as outstanding as the broadway actors we'd seen the night before, but they know their value.
