    Episode Description:

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I pull back the curtain on how the YLF Experience came to be—and why it’s so different from most fitness coaching programs out there. Over the last year, I’ve been focused on bringing my inside/out approach to fitness to more people in a way that’s simple, sustainable, and completely personalized.

I talk about why traditional fitness coaching often falls short, how the industry markets to insecurities instead of building confidence, and what I’ve learned from decades in both the fitness and marketing worlds. I share how lifecycle marketing became the backbone of YLF, helping me meet people where they are, no matter what stage of their weight loss or fitness journey they’re in.

You’ll also hear why I built the YLF Experience as more than just another “group coaching program”—it’s interactive, it’s structured around live streams and real conversations, and it’s designed to be affordable while still offering more access than most traditional coaching models. This is about reinforcing habits, tracking progress without pressure, and setting up a foundation that finally lasts.

If you’ve been on the weight loss journey for years and still feel like you’ve been starting and stopping, this episode will give you a clear view of why I created YLF the way I did—and how it might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

    Episode Description:

Setting goals isn’t about overwhelming yourself. In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m breaking down the weekly structure that keeps your weight loss journey calm, organized, and doable. This isn’t another “go hard or go home” system—it’s about minimum daily actions tied into weekly goals that you can actually stick to and then exceed.

I explain how to set up one goal at a time, build consistency, and eventually expand into more without adding mental chaos. You’ll hear why I like to set goals on Sunday, check in midweek on Wednesday for what I call “halftime adjustments,” and wrap up on Saturday with a quick reflection before setting up the new week. This rhythm helps you take the emotion out of goal setting and turn your focus to simply following through.

This episode also covers how to use tools like the YLF Framework to keep everything simple, trackable, and repeatable. Once you’ve got this system in place, it takes less than five minutes a day to manage. That’s how you stop the mental tug-of-war and start building momentum—not just for weight loss, but for any area of your life where you want steady progress.

    Episode Description:

Weight loss isn’t just a numbers game, it’s an emotional journey. In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I share how you can honor those emotions while still creating systems that keep you moving forward. The key is learning where to separate emotion from execution. There’s power in setting minimum daily actions and weekly goals that are achievable—and then deliberately exceeding them. This approach shifts your mindset from constantly feeling behind to consistently leading your own process.

I talk about why setting goals just below your true capacity helps you crush them, build momentum, and create a belief system rooted in calm and deliberate action. I explain how to reframe daily weigh-ins, progress pictures, and waist measurements so they inform your journey without hijacking your mindset. And we discuss “mirror build-up” sessions—how just one minute of positive self-talk after tracking your progress can reshape the way you see yourself.

This is about building your foundation—the part the fitness industry never taught you. By practicing this every day, you reinforce the belief that you’re not just doing the work, you’re exceeding your own expectations. You’re taking ownership of your journey, removing unnecessary mental weight, and turning fitness into a sustainable part of your life.

    Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m asking a simple but powerful question… what is it that you really want?

This topic goes way beyond weight loss, but I think it’s where fitness and personal development connect. So many of us follow a “normal” path that’s been sold to us by the fitness industry or by society in general. But if you keep doing what you think you’re supposed to do, you might wake up one day feeling numb, disconnected, or even resentful toward a life that doesn’t reflect who you truly are.

That’s where tools like the “Five Whys” come in. Asking yourself “why” you want something and continuing to dig deeper can help you reconnect with what really matters to you. Not just with food and fitness goals, but with how you live your entire life.

I share examples from my own experiences with fitness, content creation, and even things like coffee, sneakers, and wrestling fandom to show how easy it is to turn any interest into a full-blown identity… sometimes at the expense of your deeper goals. This episode is a reminder to question what’s driving you and to build your lifestyle from the inside/out.

You don’t have to go all-in on something just because it gives you a sense of control. You can use fitness as a foundation to build consistency, but then apply that to the rest of your life in ways that feel authentic, sustainable, and personal.

If you’re ready to explore your own inside/out path, make sure you’re on the daily email list, check out the blog or framework, or reach out to work with me directly.

    Episode Description

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, we are breaking down what "normal" looks like in the weight loss space... and why it's time to question it.

If your normal has meant anxiety about food, insecurity about your body, and guilt around exercise, then maybe it's time to redefine what your normal should be. I talk about how the fitness and diet industry has shaped our insecurities by feeding us unrealistic standards and temporary fixes. Even when we succeed at weight loss, there's often still this lingering feeling of not doing enough... and that’s no way to live.

I want to eat and exercise without guilt for the rest of my life. I want to look in the mirror and see someone I appreciate, not someone I need to fix. And that is the foundation of the inside/out approach. Instead of chasing a version of ourselves shaped by filters and algorithms, we can build a version rooted in self-acceptance, long-term actions, and preferences we can sustain.

You deserve to feel at home in your body, without constantly trying to earn your worth through dieting or perfection. This is about breaking free from what the industry calls normal and creating a new version of normal that supports your physical, emotional, and mental health for life.

In this episode, I talk about how belief in yourself is not something you earn through endless actions... it’s something you decide. That decision to believe becomes the foundation for the actions that follow. We all reinforce stories about ourselves every day. Sadly, those tend to be the most negative ones when life gets hard.

When doubt creeps in, when the curveballs just keep coming, it's easy to forget that you’ve already proven you can navigate hard things. The truth is, confidence isn't something you stumble into after grinding long enough. It's something you build after you choose to trust yourself.

You don’t need more courses or another book. You need to reconnect with who you’ve decided to be. That’s what the inside/out approach is about. You’ve already got what you need... I’m just here to help you uncover and reinforce it. Whether you want to work through it at your own pace with the blog or daily email, or you’re ready for a more guided experience through coaching, I’ve got resources to meet you where you are.

The key is always the same. Step back, own your direction, and choose belief over fear. You’ve done it before. You can do it again.

    Episode Description:
In this episode, we dive into the emotional side of obstacles and setbacks during a weight loss journey and beyond. Yes, weight loss requires action, planning, and consistency, but it also brings up a lot of emotion. From sadness and frustration to anger and overwhelm, how you respond to life’s obstacles directly impacts your mental and emotional well-being.

I share how processing emotion is just as important as any food plan or workout schedule. Whether that means journaling, crying, or talking it through with someone you trust, getting those emotions out is part of the process. I touch on how the inside/out approach creates space to both observe your habits and hold room for your emotions. This combination is what leads to sustainable progress in health and in life.

If you're tired of trying to “logic” your way through everything without addressing how you feel, this episode is for you. Let’s build a sustainable lifestyle that supports who you are as a full person, not just a checklist of behaviors.

    Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m sharing a message that I hope takes the pressure off of your fitness journey. This whole thing, from the way you eat to how you move your body, is really just about taking care of yourself. That’s it. It doesn’t define your worth, and it doesn’t need to be your entire identity.

I use a personal example about doing the dishes to highlight how this can become just another part of life. Like any other habit, it can be built around your preferences and still be sustainable. When you’re connected with yourself and you enjoy what you’re doing, your baseline becomes solid. From there, it’s about reinforcement. Not perfection. Not guilt.

We’re all bombarded by polished programs, top-tier discipline talk, and an endless push for more. But I believe you can build a lasting approach to fitness and nutrition that doesn’t rely on shame, extremes, or chasing some impossible ideal. You just need to keep showing up and reinforcing a message that helps you stay grounded in who you are, not who someone else tells you to be.

You will get the hang of this. It takes practice. It takes support. And if you want to work through this at your own pace, or with more guidance, check out the resources and programs I’ve linked below.

If you’ve lost the weight and kept it off, you’ve done something the fitness industry was never designed to help you maintain. In this episode, I want to help you prepare for what comes next, especially when old thoughts, emotions, or unexpected curveballs challenge the calm structure you’ve worked so hard to build. The inside/out process is not about chasing a goal endlessly. It’s about building a foundation strong enough to return to when life throws you off track.

We’ll talk about how to handle yourself when you feel like you’re slipping, why guilt has no place in your journey, and how to assess your current mindset—not just the habits you’re doing. This message is especially important for those in maintenance and for fitness professionals who may still be running from the fear of backsliding themselves. Your clients feel your energy and look to you for guidance not only in your words but in how you live.

This episode is a deep reminder to connect with yourself emotionally, mentally, and practically. If you want to continue building a sustainable, forever active lifestyle, let’s keep doing this work together.

    Episode Description:

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m talking about what really separates a short-term streak from a lifelong journey. Everyone is building habits. Everyone is trying to eat better, move more, and take care of themselves. But the real game changer is your headspace. Are you approaching this from a calm, deliberate place or from an anxious, adrenaline-fueled one?

We dive into what it means to stop living from the outside in, and instead start with self-trust and appreciation. I break down why streaks and all-or-nothing routines might give short-term wins but rarely address the decades of emotional baggage around food and self-worth. The problem isn’t that you’re lazy or undisciplined. It’s that no one taught you to build a foundation based on your preferences and mental clarity.

This is about deciding to live from the inside/out. To look in the mirror and build yourself up. To understand that it’s not just about doing the actions. It’s about what’s driving the actions. You can have the right habits, but if you’re operating from fear or insecurity, it’ll never feel sustainable.

We also talk about the importance of choosing connection, not isolation. Whether it’s emotional support, coaching, or community, long-term change is not something you need to do alone. And it definitely isn’t about perfection.

This episode is a reminder that your identity, your mindset, and your past experiences all matter. And when you approach all of it with a calm, deliberate mindset, that’s where the real change happens.
