Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m sharing why it’s so important to appreciate and learn from your past experiences instead of discounting them. In the fitness space, it’s common to declare a “fresh start” after a setback, but when we do that, we often ignore the lessons our journey has already given us. Your ups, downs, and everything in between have shaped you into the resilient person you are today. I’ll talk about why your uniqueness is worth celebrating, how to view your reflection with more appreciation, and how building a strong foundation can keep you from feeling like you’re starting over from scratch when life throws you a curveball.

Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m breaking down why your active lifestyle should fit into your life, not the other way around. Too often, programs are marketed as “the best” and encourage you to cram your entire life into their structure. The problem is, if you don’t truly want to show up and do the plan each day, it’s not the right plan for you. I’ll share why starting with your preferences is the key to long-term consistency, how to avoid the mental tug of war that comes with forcing yourself into a routine, and why this approach makes your health and fitness something you enjoy for the rest of your life.

Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m talking about the powerful practice of using the mirror to build yourself up instead of tearing yourself down. For many of us, the habit of self-criticism has been learned and reinforced for years, maybe decades. The good news is that you can unlearn it and choose a different path. I’ll share how to start small with daily moments of looking yourself in the eye, offering encouragement, and appreciating both your physical appearance and the person you are beyond it. Over time, these intentional choices can lift the weight of negative self-image and help you create genuine belief and confidence in yourself.

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m diving into how to finally break free from the start, stop, restart cycle on your weight loss journey. We’ll talk about why your past experiences with different programs aren’t failures, but valuable information you can use to build something that actually works for you. Instead of forcing your life to fit a rigid plan, you’ll learn how to build around your preferences, lean on your own history, and focus on momentum over perfection. The goal isn’t to make eating and exercise your entire identity, but to make them a sustainable, enjoyable part of your life so you can keep going no matter what life throws at you.

Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m talking about a game-changing truth that can completely shift your weight loss journey — confidence is a choice. So many people believe they’ll finally feel confident once they lose the weight, but genuine, unshakable confidence starts with deciding to trust yourself right now, not someday in the future.
I’ll share how to choose confidence first, then use your actions to reinforce that belief, rather than waiting for your actions to “prove” you’re worthy. You’ll learn how to reframe the reinforcement patterns you’ve been using for years, why choosing yourself is both simple and challenging, and how to block out the messages telling you that you’re not enough.
This is about carrying yourself with calm, deliberate assurance, regardless of what stage you’re in. Whether it’s through the daily content I create, wearing the Always and Forever designs as a physical statement, or building your own inside/out approach, you can start showing up as the confident version of yourself today — and keep reinforcing it for the rest of your life.

Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m walking you through the YLF Framework — a systematic, preference-based approach to building a foundation for your forever active lifestyle. If you’ve been on the weight loss rollercoaster for years or decades, this framework helps take the emotional edge off, without ignoring the feelings that naturally come up on your journey.
We’ll break down how to set minimum daily actions and tie them into weekly goals so you’re consistently exceeding expectations without relying on willpower or mental tug of war. I’ll share how to track progress in a way that de-emphasizes the scale, why connecting with yourself is the core of sustainable success, and how journaling, mirror work, and creative outlets support long-term change.
This episode also covers how to use the YLF Framework page as your daily resource, why your foundation should be built around your preferences, and how to reinforce this mindset with ongoing self-paced tools or more guided support through the YLF Experience. If you’re ready to stop chasing short-term fixes and start building a process you can actually live with for life, this is where to start.

Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m diving into the importance of observing your day-to-day actions on your weight loss journey without judgment. For many of us, especially if we’ve been working toward our goals for years or decades, being hypercritical of ourselves feels normal. But learning to notice patterns and choices without tearing ourselves down is one of the most powerful skills we can develop.
I’ll share how this non-judgmental observation helps you make clearer, more effective adjustments when life throws curveballs, whether it’s from unexpected setbacks, injuries, or recurring habits that aren’t serving you. You’ll hear how to approach changes with curiosity rather than criticism, test small shifts at a time, and navigate the process without labeling yourself a failure when things don’t go perfectly.
This practice takes time, but it’s the foundation of building an inside/out approach that supports a forever active lifestyle. When you can observe your actions honestly, call out unhelpful thoughts, and let go of the self-defeating stories you’ve been carrying, you give yourself the space to create lasting change.

Episode Description
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m reminding you that you can be your own body standard. For decades, body trends have been created in marketing meetings, pushed into media, and sold as the “ideal” look to chase. But the truth is, these shifting standards are designed to keep you feeling like you’re not enough. The reality is that you already are enough.
I’ll share how body standards have evolved from TV and magazines to the fast-moving world of social media trends, and why trying to keep up is impossible and exhausting. You’ll hear why every body is different, even among people of the same size, and how appreciating what you see in the mirror right now is the foundation for lasting self-confidence.
This is all part of living an inside/out life — connecting with yourself, taking ownership, feeling empowered, and appreciating your body for getting you where you are today. My goal is to market a different message to you, one of self-acceptance and self-appreciation, and give you the tools to reinforce it daily.

Episode Description
You are the architect of your forever active lifestyle. In this episode, I talk about why building your plan around your own preferences is the key to long-term success in health, fitness, and weight loss. For too long, the industry has told us to fit ourselves into a program rather than building a program that fits us. That approach often leads to frustration, inconsistency, and feeling like you’ve failed when the real problem is that the plan never matched your life in the first place.
Instead, I share how you can create a foundation from the foods you enjoy, the activities you like, and the routines that fit your schedule. Once you have that foundation, you can test new programs, workouts, or challenges without feeling the pressure to stick with something you do not enjoy. If you like it, add it to your foundation. If you do not, simply return to what works for you. This mindset shift takes the edge off the emotional side of weight loss and keeps you empowered rather than discouraged.
I also talk about why the best plan is one you actually want to do, not one you think you “should” do because you saw it in your feed. This is a core part of the inside/out approach and the opposite of how most fitness and diet programs are marketed. Whether you want to go entirely self-paced using the free resources I offer or join the YLF Experience for more guidance, the key is remembering that you are in control. You set the structure. You decide what is worth keeping. And you can build something that lasts for decades instead of weeks.

Episode Description
If you’ve been stuck in all-or-nothing thinking with your weight loss journey, today’s episode will help you shift toward a more flexible and sustainable mindset. I’m sharing how to create a foundational approach built entirely around your preferences — the foods you enjoy, the workouts you like, and the routines that fit your life. This way, no matter what new diet, challenge, or program you try, you always have a structure to fall back on that works for you.
I explain how I’ve set my personal “default thought process” goal at eighty five percent of the time. It’s not about perfection, but about having a target that gives you both structure and flexibility. I also share why it’s important to create alternate habits and paths so you can pivot when life throws curveballs without feeling like you’ve failed.
You’ll hear how my own history with dieting shaped this approach, why I believe ownership over your thoughts and actions is empowering, and how you can find the percentage that works for you. By stepping back, observing your patterns, and returning to your foundation, you can stay consistent without the burnout of all-or-nothing thinking.
