Bora Hansgrohe had a phenomenal season with their maiden Grandtour win with Jai Hindley in the Giro d'Italia and Vlasov managed to finish 5th in a hard edition of the Tour de France.

A mixed year for Cofidis with top results in the Tour of the Basque Country and the Tour of Romandie however no real big GC results in the Grandtours and a very poor monument campaign. Simon Geschke will have nightmares over losing the polka dot jersey so late in the Tour de France

Tadej Pogačar had an incredible year winning the UAE Tour, Tirreno Adriactico and placing high again in the Tour de France plus two monuments in the form of Strade Bianche and Il Lombardia.

Notable is also the transfers they brought in so it could be a very interesting 2023 for the team.

The 2023 Tour de France will see the Grand Depart in the Basque Country for the first time since 1992 and see the return of the Grand Colombier and Col de La Loze.

Nairo Quintana and Miguel Angel Lopez seem to be uncertain now of their 2023 teams for different reasons, the two Colombian superstars have had very peculiar 2022 seasons for different reasons but where will they end up?

The 2022 WorldTour season saw some amazing individual and team performances, with the likes of Jumbo Visma firing on all cylinders, UAE Team Emirates becoming less of a one-man show and Intermache Wanty Gobert stepping up another level with Biniam Girmay and Alexander Kristoff leading the charge.

Il Lombardia the race of the falling leaves was a hard race as Alejandro Valverde and Vincenzo Nibali bid farewell to the WorldTour races after long and successful careers whilst Tadej Pogacar attempted to defend his 2021 title.

The race of the falling leaves will see the final of the five monuments with Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard heading up the favourites list however could we see an upset from Adam Yates in his final race for Ineos Grenadiers or even the retiring riders of Vincenzo Nibali and Alejandro Valverde?
