What is self love? Is it selfish? In this episode of therapy is cool, Molly discusses what she believes self-love is. She believes it is journey that we all must engage in throughout our lifetime. This process heals ourselves which ultimately heals the world. By thanking our past we acknowledge that it's shaped us into the humans we are today. We have to thank all parts of ourselves our past, present and future (ideal) self.
You have permission to start loving yourself in the ways that feel good. By being aware of how we treat ourselves we can unlearn our unhealthy behavior and patterns. Being gentle with ourselves is key to allowing a deeper understanding moving us closer to self-love.

Maurice's vision with Prairie Health is to rebuild the mental health system from the ground up by offering affordable, data driven solutions to mental health treatment.

In this episode of therapy is cool, we explore if what we are experiencing is a bad moor or if we are just around bad company? This therapy snack is about recognizing that maybe the problem isn't you and is around the company you keep. I discuss ways to assess how you are feeling and where it is coming from. You are responsible for the energy you bring but you don't have to absorb the energy of those who make you feel bad. It is time now to develop self awareness around people who light you up vs. people who make you feel negative or low. Recognizing toxic people is the first step in freeing yourself from the negative feelings. Listen to this episode to gain tools to evaluate your relationships, setting limits and creating solutions that will make you feel safe.
