Makary tells of children and their health in other countries when compared to the United States, noting a poisoning of the food supply that has garnered a very unhealthy populace. Makary, in the new book, ties together the strength of the pharmaceutical companies, the mishandling of COVID, and our unhealthy children to paint a bleak picture of where we currently stand, noting what needs to change for us to have our health back.
