Mark Holloway makes hearing from God feel normal and approachable. With humor, honesty, and unconventional stories from his own life, he shows that doubt is part of being human—and that connection with God can still be real and personal. Passover has always been more than a story about survival—it’s a story about freedom. Not just from death, but from the fear of it.
As Easter approaches, we're feeling the invitation again: to remember, to believe, to let God meet the places in me that still feel bound. The parts of our hearts that have learned to live in quiet slavery—fear, grief, control—are the very places He is still redeeming.
This is a gentle, honest walk back into freedom—one surrendered place at a time.

Some stories don’t get told out loud in church—but they matter more than we realize.
Jesennia Pichardo shares her journey through abortion, addiction, and the kind of pain that makes you wonder if healing will take a lifetime. With honesty and courage, she opens up about what it looked like to wrestle with that question in real time.
This conversation holds both the weight of her story and the beauty of what God has done in her life. Because her story didn’t end in brokenness—it was met with deliverance

Sometimes there are parts of our hearts that don’t fully trust God yet—especially when we’re carrying grief, bills, exhaustion, fear, and uncertainty. In this episode, Karen gently guides us through a meditation on what it means to truly cast our cares on the Lord—not as a vague spiritual phrase, but as an honest process of naming what’s really weighing on you. As we slow down and name the things we’re carrying, we begin to process what may have been sitting dormant and release it into the quiet presence of God.

Joy, honesty, and so much laughter fill this conversation with Kim Michell. You could call her a prophetic comedian — she carries deep wisdom but delivers it with the kind of joy that makes you exhale.
7 years ago, Kim began the hardest journey of her life when she lost her husband to colon cancer. She shares how God partnered with her in her grief, how prayer became her anchor, and how she learned not to live consumed by the pain. “If I’m not praying about it, I’m not thinking about it,” she says — and that simple rhythm has shaped her healing.
We also talk about parenting, creating a safe space for our kids, and what it looks like to lead with both strength and softness.

“Recently I (Rachel) had the honor of speaking at the National Widows Conference where more than 550 expectant (and some reluctant) women showed up to experience what so many women in our community have experienced first hand. The room was tender and strong all at once. We took time to name what we’re tired of carrying and made the decision to lay it down.
My message, Glean. Stay. Plant., came from Genesis 26, and I didn’t preach it from theory — I’ve lived the famine. I know the fear, the scrambling, the ache of wondering how you’ll make it. But I also know this: God’s economy still works, and the law of harvest is more trustworthy than the noise of scarcity. If you can stay. If you can plant. If you can abide in what He’s already given you — there is provision there. And there is life in abundance.

Part 2: This week we’re joined by Bill Vanderbush, one of our favorite theologians, for a wide-ranging discussion that challenges the way many of us see faith.
We talk about what it really means to bring your honest questions to God instead of pretending they don’t exist. Bill addresses the idea that Christianity has often appeared powerless—and why it was never meant to be that way.
We unpack reckless grace, the difference between faith in God and faith that actually comes from God, and why so many believers have settled for less than what’s available.
