Can diet and exercise alone solve all your woes. Probably not but they can help.
In this podcast, Carlene shares an email she received from a mental-health group that espouses all Carlene has been telling people for years. And it is researched based.
Fruits, veggies (especially greens), walking and gratitude have all been shown to increase wellbeing.
On the website for this podcast, she has included the email she received and it has the links for you to go explore the actual research yourself. It's powerful.
All these years working with obese women at RawFoodBootCamp.com has shown us just how true this is. Now even the non-obese, non-dieters can benefit from all that was learned and is now validated by scientific research.
Has Life Treated You Unfairly?
Do you believe if only your circumstances had been as good as others you’d do better?
Do you blame the universe, your upbringing, your social status for your weight?
Well, yes, life can be very unfair.
But, so what. It’s the life we have and it’s our responsibility to make the best of it.
Do not let the unfairness of life become an excuse for not always being your best.

Do you find yourself finding ways to break your diet and it feels almost intentional? Often it is. No one wants to diet. It's easier to quit than to try and then fail. But we don't have to fail. If we understand our motives and we learn to recognize them, we can circumvent them and find success.
Listen to Carlene talk about all the ways we sabotage ourselves to keep from dieting and living a healthy life at a weight we feel good at.

It takes the 3 Ps to succeed at weight loss:
Patience to give your body time to lose the weight.
Perseverance to stay strong long enough to get to goal.
Practice behaviors you need to change.
None of this happens overnight. Practice the 3 Ps if you truly want to change and learn to live fit and healthy for life.
Is your body not fit enough to start an exercise program? Does your mindset tell you it will never happen? Listen to Carlene tell you stories of how some have gone from multiple 2 minute walks a day to finishing a 10K in just 4 short months. It takes determination and practice. Our bodies want movement. Now to convince our minds.

Before any weight loss journey is started, it is so important that you take the time to research the best diet for sustainability based on your food choices and dieting personality. Basically, you need to sit with pen and paper, or whatever device you use to take notes and go through your dieting history. If you don't then your next diet will turn out like your last. Start right. Listen to Carlene describe why that's so important. Know yourself!
