I wanted  to find out how the trauma she has whitnessed may have informed her own journey with mental health and how she believes growth can be gained from a change in perspective and showing up.

I started skateboarding at 32 after I left my cricket team. I'm not sure what I wanted to gain from this new activity. For most of my adult life I have felt alone and lonely. I hope sharing my story will help people understand why I am the way I am, understand the complexities of anorexia, and understand that mental illness doesn’t have to define a person. I ran out of time to share all my story, But I will do a second episode about how I overcame my battle with anorexia and depression and what my mission in life has become based on my past experiences. 

Recently Diagnosed with ADHD, Susan has generously shared her time and story about living in a world where she feels like a miss fit and I quizz her on how she has become the incredible artist that she is today.
