It’s special episode time everyone!! For this special interview episode, we are speaking with Cybil Lake!! Cybil is director and actor! For this very special episode, we were able to speak with Cybil about her movie, Central Park Dark! This movie stars Cybil herself, as well as Tom Sizemore.

“Central Park Dark is a feature length horror/thriller film starring Tom Sizemore and Cybil Lake. It’s about a one night stand that turns into a never ending nightmare. Thomas, an alcoholic, married doctor has a one-night stand with Anna, an unstable woman, who jumps out of his window, then begins to torment him, though it’s unclear if she’s alive or not. Appearing in his dreams, Anna lets him in on a secret about the long history of dark forces in Central Park. Working with these dark forces, Anna takes revenge on Thomas through a series of ancient rituals. As Thomas struggles to return to his normal life, a descent into darkness ensues. “

What is going on everyone out there on the internet!! This LIVE episode, comes off the heels of The Walking Dead heated episode!! Do we carry over the Doyle and Gabe argument that brought the last episode to a stand still?

What we do talk about, as always, are the things that we have done, outside of our topics, in the last two weeks, since the last time that we saw each other! From the movies, or the TV shows, what do we have on our minds, to share with all of you? Hopefully, as always, you will join us in the future, to talk about some of the things that you want to talk about as well!! We always announce when we’re going live, so hopefully you can come on in the future!

Half of the team is completely ready for more and more, and even more zombies, but the other half of the team is ready to give up The Walking Dead, for more, ugh, zombies…………. Listen to the episode and see if you can understand the argument haha! BUT, for this episode, we are speaking about the first season, of the limited series TV show, The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond is destined to only be a two season series, that will explore the universe of The Walking Dead proper. It will explore the group of people who took Rick Grimes, and what they are trying to accomplish. This limited series, will bleed into the last season of The Walking Dead, and the next season of Fear The Walking Dead. A bigger and bigger universe is being built, with some familiar faces, but with an ever expanding universe, that always brings with it, more questions than it ever answers.

It’s pop culture classic time everyone!! For those of you who don’t know, right now we have two Patreon supporters, who support us at the “Director” tier. What that means, is that they get to choose a pop culture subject every other choice. For this subject, our supporter Jason, chose the president film, Dave.

Dave is a film from the 90’s, that stars Kevin Kline, and Sigourney Weaver. Kevin Kline’s character is the perfect look alike for the current in universe president, and is hired to stand in for the president, for a certain event. In the middle of all of this, the real president has a stroke, and is essentially dead. Now, Dave is set into the middle of a scheme to keep him as president for a while. Sigourney Weaver, plays the president/Dave’s estranged wife. It’s a pretty heartwarming story! Check it out to see if you think it’s worth the watch.

Our topic for the day, happens to be packed with some star power. How could a movie with Denzel Washington, Jared Leto, and Rami Malek miss on this movie, or did they? Give the episode a listen, to hear what we thought about this star packed movie, The Little Things. The Little Things debuted in 2021, so it is a pretty recent release!

The Little Things is about two police officers, from different backgrounds, who happen to share a similar “quality,” in their obsession. Denzel’s character has a pretty grim background, and Rami’s character has a bright future. What happens when they come together in order to solve a string of murders that seem to be connected, and point in the direction of Jared Leto? What did you think of this release?

Gabriel Iglesias is a pioneer, as far as the comedy industry goes! So, you know that whatever he was going to do, as far as a series goes, was going to be just as fun as he is, during his comedy! I think that he hit it out of the park, with his Netflix series, Mr. Iglesias!

Mr. Iglesias, of course, stars Gabe, playing an exaggerated version of himself, who is a history teacher at Woodrow Wilson High School! One of the great things about this series, is of course, how extremely funny the cast is as a whole! Included in this cast are, Jacob Vargas, Sherri Shepherd, Richard Gant, & Oscar Nunez, including a cast of hilarious children; Cree Cicchino, Tucker Albrizzi & Gloria Aung. PLUS the hilarious Fabrizio Guido, who we had the opportunity to speak with, about Mr. Iglesias, which you can find HERE! If you want a series that will make you laugh, this is definitely the series for you!

For today’s episode, we are taking a look at one movie, but that was done twice. The original, came out in 2003, and is a Korean action thriller!

The original OldBoy tells the story of Oh Dae-Su! He is a businessman who gets kidnapped, seemingly out of nowhere, to be pulled into a web, that encompasses a years long plan of revenge! After spending fifteen years of time as a captor, he’s magically released. Now with nothing but the taste of dumplings, and a NEED to find his captor, he goes on a revenge mission of his own. Now, the 2013 remake, follows the original movie, almost exactly. There are only a few differences, and one of them is the ending. They have two distinct endings. The remake, stars Josh Brolin, and Elizabeth Olsen. They’re both worth at least one viewing, and one viewing might be enough of a watch for both of them!

What in the holy hell has been going on since Avengers: Endgame? With the Tony Stark Avengers behind us, what have some of our favorite Avengers been up to?

Well, if you’re asking this question, the first three episodes of WandaVision might not give you ANY answer that you seek! We know that Vision has been dead since Avengers: Infinity War, but somehow he is in this series, with Scarlet Witch herself, Wanda Maximoff. How is that happening? Well, through the third episode, we still don’t know! There was a lot of hope for this series, and as of this writing, there are, I believe, two more episodes that have been released, which may explain more and more. But, through, what we were able to watch, as of this recording, a whole lot of NOTHING has happened. Is Wanda dreaming, or keeping everyone prisoner in this city? Is the government in charge? WTF is actually going on? Listen to this episode, and then keep watching WandaVision for more fun entertainment!

We’re back with another, special, interview episode!! In one of our upcoming episodes, we will be speaking about the Netflix series, Mr. Iglesias. It’s a family friendly sitcom, dealing with different types of troubled youth, as students in Woodrow Wilson High School. Today’s interviewee, is one of those students, named Mikey Gutierrez.

Mikey is portrayed by the super talented actor, Fabrizio Guido! You might remember Fabrizio from his roles in World War Z, Welcome to the Family, Con La Misma Moneda, and more!! Fabrizio is absolutely hilarious in Mr. Iglesias! He really owns the role of Mikey, from talking about his characters childhood, to his love life with Marisol, or trying to figure out what he wants to do with his future, with his mentor Gabriel.

In the interview we Fabrizio talks about some of his inspirations within the show, as well as the support system that he has built at home. We talk a little bit about how Mr. Iglesias has stretched further than your typical sitcom fan, and how they can continue to do that in future seasons!! Fabrizio is a stand up guy, will definitely keep growing as an actor, and I’m sure we’ll be writing about him more and more in the future!
