A Starch-Based Diet Cures Chronic Diseases.  The host for this show is Grace Chen O'Neil.  The guest is John McDougall.

Dr. John McDougall dispels some of the myths about eating starches.  He talks about how eating a starch-based diet will enable weight-loss, which seems counter-intuitive at first.  A starch-based diet can also cure chronic diseases such as hypertension, Type II diabetes, heart disease, and high cholesterol to name a few.  A starch-based diet can also lower your risk for cancer.  He also addresses concerns people might have about getting enough protein, calcium, omega 3s and other nutrients on a plant-based diet.

It's Not a Questions of Whether, but when.  The host for this show is Jay Fidell.  The guest is Attila Seress.

Attila Seress helps us understand the risks for cyberattack or other systems failure that will bring down our computer continuity, and the plans we can make to be to more resilient and get back on line with a minimum of business and personal loss and damage.  This seems particularly important in light of the recent FAA air traffic control systems failure.

  • The Elephant is Still Climate Change (American Issues Take Two)

Maybe the Crisis will Go Away by Itself .  The host for this show is Jay Fidell.  The guests are Stephanie Dalton and Vicky Cayetano.

With all the trouble in Congress and the GOP and thus the government in general, we haven't been doing very much on climate change. And Europe and China have also been distracted from doing anything much.  But climate change marches on and remains the elephant in the room, to wit, all the extreme weather, droughts and floods.  Do we not understand how it is increasingly changing and undermining our quality of life, public health and the global economy.  What should we do.  How likely is it that we will take useful steps in time to prevent a dreadful result.  What does the future really look like.

  • Acting Versus Being Oneself (Coronavirus and Our Mental Health)

Great Actresses.  The host for this show is Ken Burtness.  The guest is Greg MacDonald.

The harder life is, the more stress the individual is under, the harder it is to do it alone, the more people need friends. Friends help, friends support, friends are open and honest, friends can be trusted. People become friends by sharing. Friends are open about themselves so their friends can be open about themselves. It is a two-way street. If a person does not share, is not open, how can they be trusted, how can they be a friend? If an actress is seen as acting, they may be interesting, funny, or mysterious, but the audience will have a tough time believing them and their appreciation of the movie limited. Great actresses make the audience believe in their character and help the audience believe in the movie and escape from their stressful life at least for a few hours.

  • How Do the Biden Documents Change Things (American Issues Take One)

How will the Case Against Trump Play Out.  The host for this show is Jay Fidell.  The guests are Cynthia Lee Sinclair and Manfred Henningsen.

They keep telling us an indictment is coming soon, but the days tick by and it hasn't happened.  The facts against Trump in the classified documents case seem clear enough.  How has the discovery of classified documents in Biden's Foundation and residence changed things.  Is this a trick or just an example of how little respect presidents and government officials in general give to classified documents.  How will Trump and his acolytes use this before and after he is indicted.  What affect will it have on the possibility of indictment and if he is indicted what affect will it have in the criminal case to follow.
