Do any of these statements resonate with you?
You feel pressure to be everything for everyone.
You are holding so much in & trying to keep it all together.
You are not saying what you feel in the moment.
You are trying so damn hard to be loved as something you're not.
You are afraid to be seen, exposed, vulnerable, so you hide.
You feel like there are multiple versions of you based on the group of friends you are with.
How you are one thing, but choosing another for fear of not being received.
If they do, you're not alone. In today's episode, I explore one of my own truths around body image. After stumbling upon the story of the Ugly Duckling in a kids book recently, it triggered a moment that I've often come back to, even though the moment is from when I was 12 or 13 years old. It was the moment I learned that hiding was easier than being seen, especially when it came to my body image.
