This Is Silly with the Louligans!

The boys were rusty.  Was not a great game for us.  Moments of spark and excitement, but overall, we will need to be better with not many chances ahead.

But we move on to Saturday, in the new stadium at Louisville.  Time to take some points and kick off the Kings Cup in a way we never have.

We answer a few questions, but mostly are silly and having fun joking around.  It’s almost like we tell you in the name we’ll be SiLLy.  The real world is depressing; let’s have a laugh for a bit.

The second First Game is Saturday, and we cannot wait!

Pat Barry, SLSG/STLFC President joins us on the couch to talk about what’s going on with our boys in blue and green.

They’re training, using PPE, and ready to get after it in Indy on Saturday.

Pat never shies away from the hard questions, and answers them as best he can. 

The three idiots have a good time and share some laughs, because WE HAVE OUR FOOTBALL CLUB BACK ON SATURDAY!

We start off depressed at the current events that are going on in the country and in soccer. 

But then we are just 100% SiLLy at the end.  Either we’re exhausted or going crazy.  Maybe both.

Instaqueen Sarah joins us again and we talk the current USL configuration, take your comments, and have way too long a conversation about tacos.

I don’t want to wait…for this pandemic to be over. 

We’ve talked about doing it for a while, and now that we are BACK TOGETHER IN THE BASEMENT!!!!!, it’s time to talk about MLS branding.

Instaqueen Sarah joins us to talk about the MLS teams logos, brands, and general branding appearance.  We hit on which ones work, which failed miserably (Chicago), and which ones are just great.  As was said on twitter, there are no wrong answers, but there are wrong opions.  (Hint: Brad is wrong.)

We end with discussing what we hope for the future MLS team in St. Louis, and take your opinions on the topic.  It’s a long one, but you get what you pay for.  

COVID-19 numbers are starting to go down, but the social discourse is rising.  It’s a rough time for many people right now, and we unequivocally say Black Lives Matter.  We need to make change happen.

And it starts with us.  The three of us look inside, and talk about what we can do to change as people.  

We also talk about the stories going around about USL coming back sooner than we expected, and what we can expect. 

We take your questions, and generally have a positive outlook.  Which even beyond the current climate is not the norm for us.  Enjoy the time together, and we stand for all together.  

We’ve got plenty to talk about tonight with a lot of news in the soccer world in the US…not a lot of it that we want to hear.  USL labor issues lead the way…with possible breaking news coming in during the show. 

But really, all we’re doing is trying to give a little happiness every other week for you.  Stay healthy, stay safe, we’re legitimately all in this together.  Unlike movie stars, we all have the same struggles.  Smile for 70 minutes, and hopefully we’ll see you soon.  

It’s hard.  We’ve all been locked up for a while, no sports to distract, and while there’s hope…well, it’s probably inappropriate to make a “hope that kills you” joke right now. 

We start off kinda down, and cover the depressing topic of the USWNT lawsuit…but then we get positive again talking about the (little) news we have and a great question gets us going. 

So forget about the outside world for a while, and pretend you’re hanging out with three jackasses talking soccer.

Well, the audio isn’t very good.  But then again, people bitch about it when it is good, so what do we know. 

All we’re here to do this week is have a little fun and take your mind off washing your hands again and again.  We talk about Keith Mayfield’s historic run in the USL eCup…as a result, STLFC won it’s first playoff knockout game in history!

We talk about USSFDA folding, and take your VERY silly questions.  Eventually Brad’s computer dies on him…Bird blames the questions.  I blame the SCHOLES-22 virus. 

Have fun, relax, forget about your situation for an hour or so.  And take care of yourselves and eachother.  

Other than USSF getting a new president due to horrible sexism and Ronaldinho getting arrested, there is NO SOCCER to talk about.  

So we just have fun for 90 minutes.  Instaprincess Sarah joins us to discuss the “potato wedges are not fries” discourse, and have a good time with us. 

With little to talk about, we just bs and discuss your topics.  Including the infamous Big Beef story.
