  • TJT - Ep22 Tom Arbaugh

Today I interview my friend, Tom Arbaugh, about the work he does as a chaplain at a children's hospital in Chandler, Az. We dip into his upbringing and the catalyst that caused his 360 in life. We touch on spirituality, ethics, key moments in his career, and the emotional cost that comes with his line of work. I lost count on how many times I got goosebumps from this conversation.

We met a little over a year ago at a men's park workout group called, F3. We are always looking for new members to join our completely free and volunteer lead workouts. F3 is in every major city in the U.S. Head to www.F3Nation.com to find faction near you!

  • Ep21 John Blabe

Today, I have the pleasure of sitting down with a huge literal figurehead in my life. John was my high school coach for practically all four years in football and baseball. John is a larger than life character who now uses his golden years to mentor, advise, referee, and write for the Yuma Daily Sun newspaper.

John Blabe's column and blog can be found on his website, https://www.jbcoachescorner.com/ , and/or with your Yuma Sun subscription.

  • TJT - Ep20 Jeff "Pete" Peters

Today, I am joined by long time friend and former high school teacher, Jeff "Pete" Peters. He has been a cornerstone of the Antelope Union High School community, in Wellton, Az, for over 30 years. Pete's wife, Jane, was my kindergarten teacher and he molded my eager mind throughout high school.

Pete has been co-head of the Arizona State Student Council for many years, on top of his teaching duties. He also heads or has headed up Key Club, Ski Club, coached tennis, (and a numerous other projects. Too many to name) and just been a tremendous advocate for the youth of East Yuma County.

Please reach out to support your local high schools with funding. Educators, like Pete, are in dire need of your encouragement to help our youth succeed in life.

About This Juan Time

From the publisher's feed

This Juan Time podcast is about connecting with unique individuals and relating to each other’s life experiences. We aim to share, what we deem, important knowledge with every curious listener. On that same note, we will not shy from the incredibly silly. Life is often too serious and we must laugh at ourselves or crumble under the pressure.
