Lynn Frair is a Nurse turned Money Coach who began investing at the age of 12. Despite her diligence in saving early on, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor which was difficult but changed her life. It wiped out all their savings and they had to rebuild from a net worth of zero in 2009. Hanging on to her investments in 2008/9 when everyone else was bailing, she was able to accumulate enough money in her investments to comfortably retire at the age of 40.
