Thought For Today

I remember once doing a book signing and a little boy came up to me, probably three or four years old. He had a pen in one hand and one of my books in the other hand. He had a cellphone and his face was quite red...

Who are we trusting today?

Are we trusting our bank balance, are we trusting our health system, are we trusting the weather - Who are we trusting?

Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord. Let people see Jesus through your daily work. Many, I know, listening to this programme would say, “I want to go full-time for the Lord...

God is a miracle worker and He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore...

Trust the Lord, it is not a hope for the best - It is a case of Jesus knows and I am going to unconditionally surrender to Him. It doesn’t matter what happens. I am going on, I am not stopping...

Remember, as Christians our symbol is the cross and the cross represents great suffering. So today, if you are going through a hard time, remember there is one who knows exactly what you are going through because He has been there Himself. He really does and more importantly, He really cares.

In everything that you and I do today, let us magnify Jesus.

You know, my greatest enemy is not the devil. It is Angus. Angus must die so that Jesus can live through him.

Who are you and I putting our trust in today? David put his faith in God and not in man. Mark 14:31, Peter says to Jesus: “If I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” But Jesus said to Peter in Mark 14:30: “Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.”

You know, I remember my old dad saying to me: “When you get up in the morning and you don’t feel like going to work - change your job!” Now he was an old blacksmith but he had such wisdom.

You and I need to concentrate on those who are serving God and spend our time and our effort with them. To pray rather and to leave the wicked in the hands of a righteous, just and Holy God.
