13 Daily Happiness Habits
1) Be a good human
Just don't be an asshat. Hold the door for the lady behind you, the child behind you, the man behind you, THE PERSON behind you.
2) Forgive quickly
Not forgiving and holding onto the anger or whatever negative emotion you're experiencing is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
3) Be honest
It's true what you were told all of your childhood, honesty is the best policy. That is all.
4) Judge less
When you judge someone you're actually judging yourself. Let that sink in. Doesn't feel to nice.
5) Exercise
Because science. If you want to get into the details here send me a message and we'll take a deep dive as my man @bedroskeulian likes to say.
6) Eat like you love yourself
Unless you're under the age of 11-ish, you know what feels good when you eat it and what doesn't. Eat the things that make you feel good.
7) Don't have a victim mindset
You are not a victim. IT may feel comfortable and easy to slip into being one, but it will not help you at all.
8) Show gratitude, always
Also, because science. It is proven that writing a gratitude list actually creates new neural pathways in your brain.
9) Drink enough water
This is necessary for survival, but it also helps with energy, brain power and mood.
10) Be open to change
Everything is always changing anyway, so there's really no use in fighting it.
11) Be patient, but don't wait
Patience is mindful, waiting is mindless.
12) Speak well of others
No matter who it is speak well of them. Sometimes fewer words is better.
13) Smile more than you frown
Smiling just like yawning is contagious. The more you smile the more people around you will smile and the happier everyone will be.
Bonus happiness tip: Accept every moment as if you chose it. Because you did.
