We’re doing another throwback episode today with Emma Healy from @_thelakehouse_ on Instagram. Emma and her husband have built a beautiful dream home next to a lake, which has gained a lot of attention. She explains why they ended up creating an open house and the benefits it has provided for her family, such as being able to monitor and always know where her kids are, who in turn always know where she is. Emma suggests that you try not to spend money until it’s something you absolutely know you want and would make your life better, and then to buy things because you like it and not because someone else does or doesn’t. When creating/building your own dream home, think about how you will want to feel when living and being in that home.
