"Today we’re doing a throwback episode with Sarah Battle from House by the White Thorns, who’s a mother, wife, and interior stylist. She has 5 kids, ages 5, 4, 3, and two 6 month old twins, which tends to gain attention from people, given that they have 5 kids that are all under age 6. We discuss different ways to keep the kids busy and whether it’s best to have them inside or send them outside to play. We also talk about baking and cooking, and how we manage our various meals, and then give ideas of different/simple recipes to make for your family. “I try to have them out as much as possible –rain, hail, or snow. Our house is a bungalow, so we have no steps, stairs, there’s no levels in the house. So they can run straight into the kitchen dining area from outside the doors and straight back out.” 9:49
