The Mariposa County Sheriff's Department released the final update on the deaths of a family of three and their dog on a trail in Mariposa Co. Using an FBI computer/phone forensic team, officials were able to create a timeline and track unsuccessful attempts by Jonathan Gerrish to call and text for help while on the trail. COVID cases are now averaging 140k new cases per day, down 64% in the past two weeks. At a White House briefing, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky notes optimism tied to the decline in cases, hospital admissions and deaths. A woman in Florida woman is accused of using money from a COVID relief related business loan to hire a hit man kill a mother in front of her toddler.
