The continuous atmospheric rivers that have poured down rain on Central California have created pothole problems for drivers in Fresno. "Since January 1 to now we've had over 3,200 potholes," said Brian Russell the Assistant Director for Fresno City Public Works. A couple hit head on by a suspected drunk driver in Austin, Texas, said it took 2.5 hours for police to respond to the crash – allowing the driver to sober up and avoid charges.
