A hunting video uploaded to Youtube helped authorities catch a local man in possession of firearms he wasn't supposed to have given he is a convicted felon for domestic violence. Given a history of failure to identify violent hate speech, a nonprofit decided to test Facebook's content moderation. First, they failed to identify Ethiopian based hate speech. Then months later, they failed to identify hate speech based in Myanmar. The House Select Committee on the Jan. 6th riots will broadcast its hearings tonight. Its success may hold the key to Liz Cheney hanging on to her Republican nomination in WY's upcoming primary.
