California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that 300 tiny homes planned for Sacramento will be placed in an abandoned office park and the state fairgrounds. The structures are one of the latest solutions to America's homeless crisis, in which local leaders across the country are trying to get tens of thousands of people off the streets. Projections indicate that EVs will account for approximately 40% of total light vehicle sales by 2030, with some forecasts even suggesting it could exceed 50% by the end of the decade.
