Hey hey hey! This weekend was full of big learns and new experiences from alien watching to unprecedented heat waves.
I’ve never given much thought to UFOs or the like in the past but in my adventures with people who have I took away some powerful lessons about the human desire to belong and seek out truth.
It comes as no surprise that the truth of humanity is that we have done damage to our planet- A place we must all share.
I believe there is still so much good we can do and that collectively we can make our world something it has never been before: Just, renewable, and safe.

It’s too hot out there right now for hope alone. If this heat bubble is a preview of what’s to come, if the beginning of a relationship is a preview of the end how do we choose to move forward?

Navigating the world of dating or global warming can be anxiety producing and as far as I know the only way to quell anxiety is through action.

Hope without action can become toxic. Stay diligent in how you participate.

Who’s been objectified based on what you look like?

Who’s looked in the mirror and felt disgusted or angry at what you see?

Who’s been told what they should do or wear or be like to be more appealing?

Who’s struggled to meet an ideal in order to feel like you’re enough?

If you are female or femme identifying you can likely answer yes to one, if not all, of these questions.

A woman’s value is not in her youth and beauty- Something we must remind ourselves and each other of in a society that continues to teach us that we are only valuable if we meet the patriarchal ideal of “beauty”. Our bodies have gotten us through every bad thing that’s ever happened to us. Our bodies can bring life into this world. Our bodies heal when they’re sick or broken. Our bodies shield others from harm. We have character and creativity and wisdom and I want to acknowledge that in each of you 👏every👏day.

We are dynamic and we are dynamite. Let’s look to really see each other this Pride!

🗣 Everyone should seek out and read the “growing body of evidence” report that informed the recent decision to relax mask wearing for fully vaccinated folks... Bottom line, the data supports that it is actually still safer to continue wearing a mask.

The way we show respect for each other‘s choice to vaccinate or not vaccinate is by showing up to public spaces in a mask.

Who doesn’t love a good meme?!

Masks and memes have saved lives! Memes also got us all more involved and engaged with the 2020 election. There is truly a meme and a mask for every occasion.

Politics, science, religion, racism, and other systems of belief have divided us and given many a false sense of entitlement when sharing public spaces for far to long. We are in this together.

One could argue that the ordinance of the fully vaccinated no longer needing masks coupled with states using lotteries to encourage the vaccine hesitant makes this more about opening up the economy than it does about public health.

Respect for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated is a must, so how do we begin to build trust with our fellow citizens as life begins to return to some version of “normal”?

Did you know that in 2019 animals were represented as the main characters in children’s books at a nearly 20 percent higher rate than Black, Native, Asian, or Pacific Islanders?!

I hope finding books written by marginalized and oppressed populations opens a dialogue within families and friend groups to talk about diversity and representation of people who do not look like you.

In covid time the elephant in the room is always the anti-maskers and the anti-vaxers... Let’s remind ourselves that misinformation and data deficits create harmful narratives that are preventing people from protecting themselves and their communities.

There is no reason not to check yourself and your sources when consuming digital content.

Please continue to follow the CDC guidelines for the fully, partially, and not at all vaccinated. There is risk and there is responsibility. What you risk reveals what you value... What do you value?

I haven’t met my nephew yet and I really want to. I value that. I want to hug my friend @dr_ramoray again. I value that.

There is an end in sight and we, the people, must do this together.
