Two separate bills on gambling laws are due to be published in the coming weeks.

They're being published as popular YouTubers have come under fire for promoting controversial games linked to young people gambling.

There's concern also over the link between sports - particularly soccer - and gambling, which is said to be leading more people into gambling.

We spoke to Joe Hickey a few months ago about his own experience of addiction to gambling and how he's attempting to help others - and he joined Fran in studio on Monday:

A book being launched this week aims to help people live a more focused, positive life.

Andrea Hayes' 'Mind, Body, Soul Journal' is a twelve-step, month-by-month strategy to add meaning and fulfillment to your life.

Last week we heard from Go Vegan and their claims about dairy farms and the horrors of taking a calf from its mother.

Their campaigns have been very provocative and farming organisations have expressed deep concern that its not based on fact but misleading sentiment.

Tipp FM's Trudy Waters headed up to Imelda Walsh's Dairy Farm in Ballywilliam - which has over 120 dairy cows.. to see first hand for herself if these claims ring through:

This week Eamon pays a visit to the home of Tipperary's first Citizen Mattie Ryan

A new group has been set up for young Tipperary farmers.

The brain child of Tom Long and Ronan O'Connor, the South Tipperary Young Farmers’ Discussion Group had their first meeting last week.

It aims to help bring Tipp's young farmers together to socialise and share experience.

The group's founders Tom and Ronan joined Fran in studio on Tuesday.

This time last week, 19-year-old Emma Doyle was only just receiving her jockey's license.

Then, 24 hours later she competed in her first professional race – and shocked racing circles by winning it.

Tipp Today Producer Ben Sweeney traveled to her home in Moyne to meet Emma and the horse she was riding, Northern Spirit.
