While much of the province is still recovering from the recent spring flood, the coastal regions are starting to prepare for Hurricane season. The city of Moncton recently participated in a province-wide emergency preparedness exercise, simulating the impacts of a disaster caused by a hurricane and measuring the readiness of its municipal team. Fire chief and director of the Moncton's emergency measures, Eric Arseneault, said all went well.
