Hey folks, it feels weird, but we have no stories for you today.  It’s just us, off the cuff just doing what we do best, talking a bunch of stuff and and being weird and celebrating two years since Carlene said yes and sipping on Stella Rosa with Vodka.  We did actually come prepared to tell a story complete with a special guest, however duty called for that special guest of ours and we really couldn’t do our story justice without her.  So we saved it for our next episode and made the whole evening about us. It’s St. Patrick’s day and the gals are drinking Guinness and eating green cupcakes while they finish up their discussion of the JonBenet Ramsey case.  Carlene takes her turn and talks about the intruder theory and several of the more well known suspects.  We also discuss Detective Lou Smit, his dealings with the case, the database of suspects he compiled and his legacy that is being carried out by two generations of his family in the search for JonBenet’s killer.

For this episode of Tipsy Tales the ladies sip on 7 and 7 while they discuss a true crime that inspired the movie Mississippi Burning.  Alma dives into the true story and horrific murders of three civil rights activists in Philadelphia, Mississippi during the height of the Civil Rights Movement during the summer of 1964 at the hands of the KKK. Carlene lightens things up with the tale of a historical home in Mississippi known as the McRaven House.  She gives us a little history and then talks about the residents that never left.
