For our first episode of this brand new year both Alma and Carlene discuss the Zodiac murders that happened in the late 1960’s and the upheaval the killer left in his wake. We also discuss the many cyphers, letters and clues left behind and the David Fincher movie, Zodiac. We both have our favorite suspects and we discuss those, so feel free to let us know your theories about the case. For their final episode of 2020 the ladies savor a bottle The Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon gifted by Carlene’s son Aidan for her Birthday.  It doesn’t take long to go to their heads which makes for an interesting night.  Alma begins with her true crime selection from Krakow, Poland.  It is the story of Katarzyna Zowada who goes missing at the end of 1998 and is found to have been sadistically murdered in early 1999, but it is how she is found that will leave you reminiscing about Silence of The Lambs. Carlene sticks with the theme of The Prisoner wine and dives into history of Brushy Mountain Prison in Petros, Tennessee. After another brief hiatus the gals are reunited and celebrate with a shot of Tequila Rose and a bottle of Tuscan Red Blend Head to Head wine.  Stuck in a room with two dogs, one full of farts and the other snoring away Alma dives into her story dubbed ‘The Dumbbell Murders.’ It takes place in the 1920’s, New York during prohibition.  A seemingly bored housewife Ruth Snyder joins forces with her hapless lover to take out her unsuspecting husband.  Carlene takes us all the way to Athens, Greece to learn the about peculiar and otherworldly goings on of the Davelis Caves.  Ghosts, goat-like apparitions, UFO’s and more are what you are in store for when you listen in.

Celebrating the end of election season Alma and Carlene enjoy some hot cocoa with Peppermint Schnapps and then pop open a botttle of Ogio Prosecco to toast the end of political adds and and mail.  Carlene takes a turn at True Crime with the sordid tale of Dorothea Puente, an unassuming, grandmotherly serial killer who killed and and robbed her boarders in Sacramento California during the 1980’s. The gals are finally reunited in this face to face recording of Tipsy Tales.  They sip on some red wine while they catch up, both amped for their first ghost adventure after the recording.  Alma starts things off with the true crime tales of a bloody rampage known as the San Francisco Witch Killings that took place in Northern California between 1981 and 1983.  Carlene dives into a True Crime of her own with a paranormal twist, the brutal Villisca Axe Murders that took place in June of 1912.   Tune in to get the scoop and find out what the ladies are up to after the recording.  Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

The ladies are back at it in a two part episode recorded over several days due to internet and technical problems and a brief bout of the flu. Both choose the drinks of their choice, Carlene with her Whiskey and Sprite and Alma with her Jalisco Estrella Pina Michelada. Alma takes her True Crime story from Brazil. A current story of Brazillian gospel singer turned politician, Flordelis De Santos who is accused of murdering her husband/adopted son, and it gets weirder. Carlene tells the story of the Sallie House, in Atchison Kansas, an extremely haunted house that will leave no doubt in your mind as to it’s active paranormal activity. It’s a whiskey and your favorite soda night for the Tipsy Tales gals, and they are both excited to talk about their merch website, their new masks, and plans for the YouTube channel.  But we are here for the True Crime and Paranormal stories that they have dug up for this week, so Carlene starts things off by taking things all the way back to Cain and Abel, just kidding, more recent than that, the late 1500’s Hungary.  Her story is about Countess Elizabeth Bathory de Ecsed, also known as The Blood Countess, and for good reason as you will find out when you tune in.  Alma gets into her creepy paranormal story that takes place in Southington, Connecticut.  The Snedeker family moves into a new home in 1986 only to find out that it may have had a sinister past that is still haunting the present.  Pull up a chair, put on your seatbelts and get ready to have some fun.
