TMNT Shellcast is back and hotter than ever with its review of "Turtles at the Earth's Core" from season 3 episode 10 of the 1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. In this episode, Donatello tries to locate the Technodrome by analyzing module-arrival patterns but is interrupted by an earthquake. The Turtles discover a "lost world" underground where dinosaurs thrive and Shredder's minions are sent to retrieve a crystal that powers the hidden world. TMNT Shellcast is back to recap "Attack of the 50-Foot Irma" from season 3 episode 3 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. In the episode, Shredder steals a meteorite so Krang can crystallize a rare isotope for an experimental growth serum. Irma is accidentally exposed to the serum and becomes a giant. The Turtles must stop her from causing destruction in the city and find a way to reverse the effects of the serum.

TMNT Shellcast interrogates "Turtles on Trial" from season 3 episode 2 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the episode, the turtles are accused of being a menace to society by talk show host Clayton Kellerman. Despite efforts to defend themselves, Kellerman continues to badmouth them and incite violence against them. Meanwhile, Krang plans to use a powerful robot to destroy them on national TV, but the turtles ultimately defeat the robot and save the day, only to be disappointed by Kellerman's continued negative portrayal of them.

TMNT Shellcast digs deep into review of “Beneath These Streets” from season 3 episode 1 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the episode, Splinter scolds the Turtles for slacking off on their martial arts training and assigns them double the exercises. Meanwhile, Krang and Shredder work to repair the Protein Silicon Brain using a stolen Medi-Laser, leading to a battle with Splinter and the Turtles. After Splinter is injured and comatose, the Turtles vow to find Shredder and eventually retrieve the stolen Medi-Laser, ultimately using it to save Splinter's life.

Andrew kicks off season 3 with anchovy pizza AND a bonus slice (00:01:30) before Chris and Jon join to Select Your Bets: Season 3 (00:09:41).
