On this episode of Neon Galactic, we interview author and businessman Tom Matte on how a long and terrible slide into cocaine addiction and psychosis ultimately left him with a talent for seeing and encountering the transcendent.

Matte’s book, “Jesus Goes to Hollywood,” is a rollicking ride through excess and insanity, the collapse of family, and the power of love.

The story is wild and entertaining, yet also somehow pregnant with possibilities for expanded human capacity.

Matte ultimately emerges from this trauma with a gift that even now informs and directs his life.

Holographic images fraught with layers of pointed meaning have become a part of Matte’s daily experience. He can engage at will, or not, yet doing so always provides penetrating insight and deep connectivity.

We discuss this talent, what he calls “upsight,” and explore how Dean Radin’s Institute of Noetic Science will soon publish an academic paper examining Matte’s claims and correlating his conscious experience with physical phenomenon in his brain.

Matte discusses how he believes his new capability be the vanguard of a broadening human potential, one he’s anxious to help the world understand.
