Temps in the 40s this morning. The season is definitely turning.

I talked about Ghost Mortem, beta readers for the Cat, and Factorio, along with the normal maundering about my wandering.

I didn’t see that coming. Obviously. Didn’t even see the lightning. Or the rain with drops so fat and heavy I felt them pelting my shoulders. Luckily there weren’t too many of them and my extra fleece protected me from betting too wet.

I talked about yeast, Ghost Mortem, and Factorio.

Yes, I walked in the rain. Put on my rain shell and did the thing because it’s a 2-day and a little water won’t hurt me.

Talked about Forgotten Fleet, The Cat, and Factorio. Mostly Factorio. An the weather. I mentioned that it was wet a couple of times.

Talked about revisiting the Cat today, Forgotten Fleet, and – of course – Factorio.

That’s what I get for waiting until the sun gets up before getting out for the walk. Sweaty.

Had to walk a little earlier this morning to clear the way for a dental appointment. Lots of family business to deal with today after a glorious day off yesterday.

I got out early this morning, in part because I’m against a 9am deadline and also because I was up and ready to go. Didn’t feel like waiting for sunrise.

Talked about the Cat, Factorio, the Japanese 4-act structure Kishōtenketsu, and a few other things.

Kind of a dreary looking morning. Not as chilly as yesterday’s 40F but the damp made it feel cooler.

I talked about A Novel That Will Not Be Named, Factorio, and how much better the Cat is than I thought while I was writing it. There’s still work to do but the bones are (mostly) there, I think. More work on that today.

Halfway through the walk I realized that it’s only 635 days worth of haiku everyday. A good number but a typo in my tickler file put the notice on the wrong year. Missed it by that much.
