They just complain.

Not much to talk about this morning. Nice cool morning thanks to an early start. Henry’s Harbor Book 4, No Man’s Sky. Saw the coach. Normal morning ramble.

I probably should have gotten up at 4:30 instead of going back to sleep. I paid for the extra snooze in sweat on the sidewalk.

Talked about Henry’s Harbor, No Man’s Sky, and gave a nod to Roger. Mostly it was just hot.

Talked a bit about the heat, some about Roger and the process. Nothing about No Man’s Sky unless it was a passing reference that I forgot. Saw a nice lady on a trike and talked to the woman who manages that corner garden that I like. She’s not terribly happy with the grass.

Walked anyway. I’m going to need a clean (dry) shirt.

Talked about podcasting, the trees, and the development of the intermediate wheat grass on the way.

Lots of fireworks litter around. No sign of fires, so that’s a relief.

Talked about Roger, the morning, and whatever else crossed my mind.

Except I need to make this much less slacker and much more whacker, as in get a whack-ton of stuff done to catch up on the month already in progress.

Talked about that along with Andrew Karevik’s Henry’s Harbor and too much No Man’s Sky. I need to pick up some of my litter there and focus a bit. Also talked some about Roger. He and I need to have a long talk today.

And the livin’ is easy. Sorta.

Talked about baking bread at 3am, sleeping late, walking in the morning heat, and visiting Roger yesterday. The movie in my head keeps stuttering but at least it seems to be coming back. Perhaps like an old black and white silent film, but there.

First day of the new month. I’m raring to go. Walking fast this morning to make it back before the tech arrives to clean up our AC compressor.

Talked about The Retired Assassin’s Guide to Country Gardening. Oh, my, what a fun read. After the last few books, this was a bright drink of clear water on a hot afternoon. I’m into book 2 already.

Not a perfect month. Too many Blue Days, but I got the 40 miles in. Even in the heat of summer, most of them were outside.

Talked NMS too much. It’s getting more tedious than rewarding. The grind loop, while wide, is becoming something of a bore.

Lots of fires on the Western Slope funneling smoke into the region.

I talked about the heat, writing, marketing, and the heat. Did I mention the heat? Yes.
