Caught myself walking-not-talking a lot this morning. What little I did say concerned writing, reading, and playing Factorio. Also, I forgot to turn on airplane mode and shut off the bluetooth and wifi. Might be some extra noise.

Apparently “Showing Up” is in the air. It’s been surrounding me for the last two weeks. I talked about it for most of the walk, after a brief summary of The Full-Sized Bed Incident that started yesterday on the wrong side of said bed.

It’s supposed to be hot again today, but I baked my bread this morning before dawn and got out early before I feel asleep again.

Talked about the first 5 minutes and “showing up” a little. Factorio. The sky. Lots of walking/not talking I think. I’m so tired I’m feeling punchy and will probably grab a nap.

I’m getting to the point in my Cycle of Doom that it has become something of a struggle to stay on target. ADHD and my normal level of cussedness keep prompting me to chuck it. But the writing is going well. The 2/3 days of walking suits and satisfies the need to keep the body moving.

I talked Soldier’s Life, Factorio, and the state of the sky this morning.

I got out right at sunrise this morning and got treated to a light show. Glad I went.

Talked about Level-One Bookshop and spent too much time talking about the grass seeds.

Something set me off this morning. I cranked on about a book that drove me crazy and nattered myself breathless. I feel sorry for the jogger though. Luckily the grass was wet.

A full morning herding words into a coherent flock yesterday. I had so much fun I did more of it in the evening. I’m rushing to get back to it this morning.

Talked about writing, marketing, Joyce Lionarons (butchering her name in the process) and Sarah J. Hoodlet‘s Way of the Wielder series (neither of which I could recall correctly in the moment).

I blame brain cloud.

What a nice break from broiling.

Talked about finally finishing Ferriera’s Pacifist series, trying to find a new book/series to read, and trying to upgrade my computer when I can’t trigger the boot menu.

Cool and foggy. A little breeze to keep the air moving. After what feels like weeks of 70F morning, it was a literal breath of fresh air.

Talked about nothing much. Paul Loomans’s name came up (Time Surfing) along with the kayak metaphor (again).
