The weather called for rain but I got out – and back – before it started. It’s still in the forecast and the sky looks threatening.

Talked about Satisfactory (of course), and the new book(s) I’m reading (Gnizak, Wizard’s Rise). I think I forgot to hit the Monk Post on the way by. I don’t remember it, but then, I frequently forget just seconds after having done it.

Got the grocery/pharmacy run in before walking (instead of after) and the day heated up a lot between the time I started out and the time I finally got back home.

Talked about Beautiful Garbage, Satisfactory (of course), and reading a book that was okay but not something I’m going to recommend.

To those who celebrate. A slow meander around the neighborhood this morning before I got sucked into another rabbit hole and lost the day. These early walks are just so much more satisfying, if only because it leaves the rest of the day for chasing rabbits — ah, for working. Yes, that’s it. Working.

I talked about the usual suspects and looking for a trading game. Finished up the Glyphwrights series (so far) and will be looking for something else.

With any luck, it won’t be bad luck that I got out at 7am.

Had a little trouble getting going today but managed it get back on the sidewalk before noon.

Talked about Natalie McMaster’s fiddling, SD McKittrick’s Homestead Crafter, and – of course – Satisfactory and whether nuclear power is worth the trouble. It’s certainly not needed to “win” the game but maybe making extensive post game builds? I’m skeptical.

I meant to get out much earlier but ran into unforeseen delays all morning. Such is life.

Yes, it’s a 3-day but I lost yesterday somewhere. I think it’s in my other pants.

I talked about finishing this play through of Satisfactory, some thoughts about going forward, and what I want to accomplish next. Also talked about finishing Dahners’s Simple Magic stories and starting McKittrick’s Homestead Crafter series.

I have no idea what’s going on with yesterday’s file. It might be fixed now, but I’m not holding my breath. Perhaps today’s post will be better.

I had to be up and out of the house around 9am so took the opportunity to walk outside. The treadmill is nice as a backup/last resort thing but walking outside is so much better for me.
