Nice morning for it. Comfortable walking weather. I talked a bit about Loomans’s I’ve Got Time lessons – which I spent some quality time with yesterday between novels. Trying to work against the clock of the rising sun without feeling rushed. Trying to be in the moment. Interesting challenge. Also talked about Enshrouded and trying to play a mage.

For some reason, the recording paused at 11 minutes. I noticed when I got home and added the sign off. Half a talk this morning, I guess. Usual subjects but I don’t know which ones I hit first so it’s a grab bag today.

Didn’t have much to share. Talked about Loomans and Ferreira again. I’m still finding the Loomans perspective helpful and the Handyman series intriguing.

Mumbled about the grass and trees. The state of the rye.

I’m glad I wore the hoodie this morning. The extra early start coupled with a breezy and slightly overcast morning made for good walking.

I talked about Handyman again. A lot about the state of the grasses along the way.

But at least two in a row.

I talked about the difference between building a scaffold for my daily practice, expecting it to last, and the sand castles I’m really building that get washed away with the next tide.

Also Looman’s I’ve Got Time and Ferreira’s Handyman series.

The solstice occurred last night at 8:42 PM MDT. An auspicious time to get back into the groove. The days will be getting hotter as the season goes on (and it was 100F yesterday), but the sunrise will be getting later, slowly at first but closer to where I an walk in it.

Talked about lessons from my father, my current read (Cássio Ferreira, Handyman, book 1 of Hidden Class), and the state of summer. Met one of my familiar faces on the path and it felt good.

I forgot to fix the settings for airplane mode, etc, so there may be some artifacts. Sorry. I have to retrain myself…

Not exactly the month I expected but it’s the month I got.

Talked about Enshrouded, Michael Chatfield’s The Recruitment series, and odd bits of this and that.

I’ve been foggy for the last couple of weeks. The weather has been just ducky – as in wet and drizzly. I decided to go out this morning right after breakfast and before I did anything else.

Talked Enshrouded and the weather. Season changing. Met The Coach on the back side of the walk. I’m back, a bit damp, but feeling like I may be – just maybe – on the path again. We’ll see tomorrow.

Mother’s Day passed without much fanfare although the mother in question managed to find a few little treats as the day unfolded.

Talked about birds and trees, Enshrouded and how Gold Ranked Brewer by James Ghoul is growing on me.

The roof has finally been installed. I talked about the trial by hammering and the literal fallout. Also reading (Gold Rank Brewer, James Ghoul) and playing Enshrouded and how I’m not all that excited about “the darkest release yet.”
