I think I talked mostly about how I view trad-pub as a kind of human powered AI, rounding off the corners so their works fit into the established holes. Also marketing and why indie authors have been countering the slop since the Kindle Autumn of 2010.

Lots of rain. Very humid. Probably more rain coming but I didn’t get any on me while walking.

Talked about music, CW Lamb’s Starship Independence, Fallout New Vegas, and even mentioned Shackleford House in passing.

We got some rain last night. We got humidity this morning. Probably thunderstorms this afternoon. I talked about Fallout New Vegas and a study about humans reading AI vs human works. I didn’t find much to recommend about the study. Maybe if I’d seen the actual publication with methodology and actual numbers I’d have been less critical. As is? Just another sky is falling take.

But movin’. That’s the key. Talked glucose, being old. Weather. Cars at intersections. People along the way. I saw a lot of new faces.

Funny what a difference an hour can make in terms of heat gain here.

It was really too late before I was able to hit the sidewalk this morning, but I went anyway. I didn’t die, made it all the way home on my own, and even had a complete audio file when I got here.
